DEADLINE FOR DEALERS:

     FOLKS, OUR DEPUTY COORDINATOR IN CHARGE OF THE DEALERS' ROOM HAS ASKED THAT WE GIVE DEALERS A MAY 30, 2008 DEADLINE TO GET THEIR INFORMATION IN TO US, SO THAT TABLE SPACE CAN BE PROPERLY ASSIGNED, ORGANIZED, AND SITUATED IN OUR DEARLERS' ROOM.  THIS DOESN'T SEEM AT ALL UNREASONABLE, AS MOST OF THE DEALERS AND VENDORS WHO WILL BE  COMING TO OUR CONVENTION NEED TO PLAN THEIR YEAR THAT FAR AHEAD, ANYWAY. 

     SO, AGAIN, THE DEADLINE FOR DEALERS TO SIGN UP, SEND IN THEIR INFORMATION, AND THEIR FEES, OR WHATEVER IS MAY 30, 2008.   EVERYBODY'S COOPERATION WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

DEALERS' ROOM:

     Just like all the other science fiction conventions that you've attended (unless of course this is your first) we've set aside a "DEALERS' ROOM," where vendors of varied type will be offering their wares for sale.  There will be books, magazines, collectible jewelry and trinkets, videos, costumery, art works, statuary, action figures, promotional items, buttons and bumper stickers, autographed photos, tee shirts, caps, and "toys."  Many of our local area Arts & Crafts people will be setting up some space in our Dealers' Room, as well.

     Part of the fun of these Cons is taking multiple trips through the "DEALERS' ROOM."  Everyone should be able to find something to take home as a souveneir, if nothing else.  If this is your first time at such an event, don't expect to take in all the DEALERS' ROOM  on your first pass through.  In fact, most of us Con Regulars know that if we can't find our friends anywhere else around the convention, we can always find them in the DEALERS' ROOM, just about anytime.  DEALERS' is one of the places where convention goers gather to chat, and interact, while they are perusing the offerings.  Mark this as a "must see" on your itinerary for the weekend of M.O.O.N. CON.

Dear Prospective M. O. O. N. Con Dealer:

We are pleased to announce, and to invite you to M. O. O. N. CON: “THE WAY WE WERE.” This is the first ever science fiction convention hosted by Starfleet Marines International. Starfleet Marines International is an international fellowship of Star Trek fans. M. O. O. N. CON, or Middle Of Outer Nowhere CON is the first science fiction convention to be hosted in this area. M. O. O. N. CON is scheduled for July 25, 26, and 27, 2008 at the Round Barn Lodge, in Spring Green, Wisconsin.   .

We are planning a separate Art Show and Auction, therefore we will be dedicating a set room to artist for the display of their work.  There will be no artists, or their works displayed or offered for sale in the Dealers' Room, this year.

Dealer’s tables for M. O. O. N. CON are priced as follows: $50 for each 6’ table (which includes ONE membership to the convention). Additional memberships may be purchased at the time of table purchase, with a limit of two memberships per table. We are limiting each dealer to no more than three tables, due to our need to be fair to other dealer’s, and such, that wish to book tables in the room. Memberships to the convention may be purchased at the same rate offered to the general public. There will be no special pricing on memberships for those securing a table in the dealers’ room. Membership rates for dealers’ will follow the same deadline schedule for advance purchase discounts as for the public.

The deadline for Dealers, Vendors, and Artists to sign up for the Dealer's Room  or Art Show/Auction, is, May 30, 2008.  If you don't get signed up by May 30 you won't get space in our Dealers Room.  Please, folks, we appreciate your cooperation on this.  We need to know that far in advance so we can configure the room.  Thanks.
